This three channel video installation is made up of three, three minute animation loops with images generated digitally or animated from photographs. The imagery stems from a contemporary interpretation of the 19th century silk painting "Hawk and Warning Bird" by Shibata Zeshin. It examines the position of the individuals in front of contemporary power systems. What acts do we take as participants in, and witnesses of the power dynamics perpetuating current wars?
