Wounded Word was a multi-room sculpture and video installation with performance produced in collaboration with Juan Ormaza. The piece was displayed at the Madelaine Hollander Gallery in Guayaquil, Ecuador. This basement installation, video projection and tuning performance was viewed through open, barred windows at street level. The cello was tuned while a sound recording featured a soprano attempting to tune her voice to random piano pitches.
